Haircuts typically cost around $21 plus tip, and they charge extra for long hair because you need a stylist that deals with longer hair, which makes sense. Prices for haircuts have definitely gone up over the years. Personally, I’ve always hated going to the salon, mostly because of the tipping. I really dislike tipping—it confuses me, and they keep raising the suggested percentage of tipping on the screen.
