When a new restaurant opens, I often go in to check it out, and I’ve noticed that many of these places are run by first-time business owners with little to no experience. I keep an eye on their reviews, and more often than not, they end up getting poor feedback. What’s even more entertaining is that the restaurant owners reply to the bad reviews, and it quickly turns into full-blown arguments, with both sides hurling insults at each other! \ud83e\udd23<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s one restaurant in particular where the owner told me he had just moved to Canada and had tons of experience in the restaurant business. A year later, I checked his reviews, and they were all good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turns out, experience really does matter. Unfortunately, in Canada, with all the taxes(theft) and complex regulations, it’s incredibly difficult to gain solid experience. The margins are so thin that one mistake can cost you your entire business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most restaurants end up failing here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s one spot in particular where the ownership changes every year. The only person making money is the landlord\u2014because the restaurants never seem to last long enough to turn a profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lesson here? Be the landlord. But even better\u2014buy Bitcoin instead. Just imagine having to deal with tenants leaving every year. \ud83d\ude05<\/p>\n\n\n\n
