I just finished Rise of the Tomb Raider\u2026 YAY!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I gotta say, the game made me pretty frustrated at times. First off, there\u2019s no mini-map on the main screen, which meant I had to keep opening the menu just to figure out where I was going. Super annoying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another thing that bugged me was the lack of a health bar or any kind of indicator on the main screen. I found myself constantly having to guess how much health I had left. Not ideal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The game also has an excessive amount of cutscenes. According to a gaming buddy of mine, they did this on purpose to make the game feel longer. I felt the same way about the first Tomb Raider\u2014too many interruptions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I ended up spending way too much time looking at guides online to figure out where I was supposed to go next. If the game\u2019s design forces me to rely on external help, that\u2019s a fail in my book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One more thing\u2014it should\u2019ve been called Cave Raider because a lot of the \u201ctombs\u201d look more like caves. Just saying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other than those frustrations, it was a fun experience. I’d give it a 7\/10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I only bought it because my friend was playing it and recommended it to me, but there\u2019s no way I\u2019m picking up the third one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
