Were you aware that Primal received $1 million dollars in funding from a venture capital firms Ten31 & Hivemind?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I looked into it and saw that other companies like Alby and Fountain, WavLake are also backed by the same group. No wonder some of these Nostr-connected apps are starting to get really polished really fast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This kind of funding is great for Nostr adoption\u2014but I bet these companies are now under pressure to make a return for their investors. We\u2019re already seeing signs of monetization, like Primal subscriptions and their new studio package. It\u2019s all very interesting to watch unfold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve never invested in a startup myself, but I probably would if I truly believed in the idea. What about you\u2014would you invest, or just keep stacking sats? Startups are high risk, Bitcoin is not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These investor firms have the fiat mentality. Their strategy is usually invest in 20 startups, and hope 1 turns into a unicorn. It’s about high-growth, high exit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
