Doesn\u2019t seem worth it to me. I already use an ad blocker, and Rumble doesn\u2019t exactly treat its users well. Their requirements to join the content creator program are excessive, and small creators can&#8217;t even make the requirements and if they do they will barely make any money\u2014if at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, I\u2019ve made more on Nostr than I ever did on YouTube or Rumble combined\u2014and I don\u2019t even make videos or run a podcast. Nostr doesn\u2019t require permission to monetize. It\u2019s all Bitcoin-based: tipping, zaps, and direct payments. It\u2019s simple, permissionless, and actually works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019d love to support X22 Report\u2014I\u2019ve been a longtime listener\u2014but I can\u2019t justify paying for a Rumble subscription. And even if I did, most of the money would go to Rumble, not the creator. Hopefully, he\u2019ll find his way to Nostr someday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, it\u2019s worth noting: his premium video shows 148K views, but based on my research, Rumble counts a &#8220;view&#8221; the moment someone clicks the thumbnail\u2014even if they don\u2019t have a subscription and can\u2019t actually watch the video. That is deceptive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes I wonder if I should start my own podcast.
