I stopped drinking milk years ago after a friend opened my eyes to how the billion-dollar dairy industry has conditioned us to believe that milk is essential beyond infancy. Even as a child, I had a gut feeling that drinking milk wasn\u2019t natural. I always found it a bit disgusting, but my mother insisted I drink it because she believed it was good for me. Back then, she didn\u2019t have access to the internet or alternative perspectives, so I understand her mistake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As I got older and had the freedom to research things for myself, I looked into what my friend had said about the dairy industry and realized he was right.
