BTCPay is an incredible tool that lets you accept Bitcoin payments directly, without relying on a third party. It also enables you to set up your own store to sell products seamlessly.
You can create an account on my personal BTCPay instance or try out BTCPay's official demo site. However, be cautious when joining a random BTCPay instance—if the operator is skilled enough to modify the software, they could potentially steal your Bitcoin.
If you're looking for a list of BTCPay Server instances, you can find one on BTCPay's official site:
The best approach is to find a BTCPay Server instance you trust so they won’t compromise your Bitcoin or, ideally, run your own instance.
Running your own BTCPay Server requires some knowledge of the Linux command line for installation and maintenance, but it gives you full control and peace of mind.
I’m currently in the process of learning more about the software. I haven’t enabled the Lightning Network yet, so my instance supports only Bitcoin on-chain payments at this time.
Please note: if you decide to use my instance and forget your seed phrase or passwords, I cannot recover them for you. Always keep your credentials secure.
