Today I started following Nostr Magazine, but later the same day I had to unfollow them. They were posting the same notes multiple times every day just to reach people in different countries. I find that spammy and annoying.

They said it's their strategy. I think they should create multiple profiles to target different regions. And honestly, most people in China speak Chinese, not English so trying to win over China with English notes is not going to win anything.

If you’re a company, you should start by targeting people in your native language and a limited number of countries. You’re not going to win the whole world right from the start.

Stop trying to reach non-English speakers with English. That audience is tiny and usually not worth the effort.
