This guy's channel features videos of him biking through El Salvador and other Central American countries. My suspicion turned out to be correct—he mentions himself that El Salvador, along with many other Central American nations, is incredibly overpriced for a developing region.

Almost all other channels mention these same things, although many "Bitcoiners" in El Salvador try to hide it but the real Bitcoiners call them out. It seems you can't fool Bitcoiners.

I personally think Asia is a better option for retirement, especially if you’re looking for affordability. Things are much cheaper there, largely due to proximity to China, and the infrastructure tends to be more developed as well.
