People are willing to pay for a coffee every day because it gives them instant satisfaction, but paying for social media doesn't give them instant satisfaction and doesn't produce much of anything, in fact it might make them angry because of a conversation.

If they were to pay 1.99 a month, but make 5.99 a month from their notes, the attitude would change and most would be willing to pay for social media but still, the coffee wins hands down because you still have to make an effort to make money off your posts in order to get the satisfaction of earning that 5.99 every month.

The cup of coffee is just too powerful and we are not at the stage where you can make money off your social media posts, at least more then what your monthly subscription costs.
