NOTE
Who are these El Salvadorans trying to fool? $4.78 USD for a tiny cup of coffee? According to ChatGPT, those prices are likely aimed at Bitcoin tourists, as many locals assume Bitcoiners are basically walking ATMs with unlimited money. A typical coffee for locals in El Salvador costs much much less.
In Canada, I can get a larger coffee for around $2. So why would I pay more than double for less, in a developing country?
Honestly, I’m glad the El Salvador Bitcoin hype is fading. Maybe I should open my own coffee shop here in Canada and undercut them. Canada isn't a third-world country, yet prices here are still more reasonable.
