I don't know why humans are so silly when it comes to hanging out in the water especially on vacation. Nobody seems to ever wear lifejackets or suggest them. Parents even let their young children swim around without lifejackets.

This father and 10 year old daughter were dragged by a current out to sea and were spotted by a water glider by mistake, they almost died.

According to articles online it happens everyday in that tourist site. Make your young children always wear life jackets while swimming in lakes and oceans even if they are good swimmers.
