the average person has about 200 friends on Facebook, the majority of people don't want thousands of friends or thousands followers,

the average person doesn't want to be a "influencer"

this is why nostr needs to change its system, to be more like Facebook, the friend/follow request system is the best because I and billions of people don't want to randoms replying to our notes, and don't want thousands or millions of followers.
