I verified myself on Nostr. I guess verification means verifying a domain. It means you own the domain.

Now I see the verified checkmark and my domain next to it on every post.

This is useful because I already found some profiles pretending to be someone else. I went to their official domain and didn't see a Nostr icon on their website so I'm guessing it's a fake profile or they haven't had time to add their nostr icon on their website.

Either way I'm not zapping anyone unless I know it's their actual account. Don't want to give money to impersonators.
