Truth Social recently updated their app, and now you can see which users are earning the most Gems.

How are they earning Gems? Well, we’re not entirely sure, but it seems like users earn Gems when they reply to posts, quote posts, or engage in other activities. The system likely awards them automatically but here’s the catch: You need a Truth+ streaming account, roughly $10USD per month to qualify for Gems. So, in essence, you’re paying to earn Gems yourself.

It's honestly pretty terrible. Who thought this was a good idea?

Their whole system doesn’t even compete against Nostr. Nostr is way ahead in the game.
