You can now buy views for Rumble, which shows the platform is becoming popular enough for people to try to game the system. I haven’t seen any services offering “buy Nostr followers” or “buy nostr livestream viewers” yet, but I’m sure it’s only a matter of time. Personally, I’ve never bought any of that — it’s a waste of money and doesn’t build a real audience.

Over the years on Twitch, I’ve watched about 98% of the streamers I followed work incredibly hard at livestreaming, only to quit. Twitch is notoriously difficult for discovery, and the platform is flooded with bots and fake engagement, which makes organic growth even harder.
