I had a bootable os installed on my usb stick. And suddenly it failed.
I got this message "windows was unable to complete the format"
Why did this happen? I suspect it was because i pulled out the usb stick while it was installing the OS.
I thought i ruined it. Luckily i found a solution online:
1. Right click on computer, click on manage
2. Click on Storage then Disk Management
3. Find your usb stick. It will most likely say "unallocated" space
4. Right click, New Simple Volume
Follow the instructions and voila, you usb is saved!
Lesson: don't pull out the usb when it's installing things. Now i have to install the os all over again.
