Cats are still wild animals

I think we should consider selectively breeding cats the same way humans have bred dogs over thousands of years—for traits like loyalty, intelligence, and responsiveness.

Most domestic cats today still retain many wild instincts, often acting independently, ignoring commands, and sometimes causing issues around the home.

With careful, long-term selective breeding, it might be possible to develop more companionable, trainable, and cooperative feline breeds—much like we’ve done with dogs.

What I’m trying to say is cats are basically wild animals that humans have invited into their homes and are pretending they’re pets.
