So, ChatGPT convinced me to start a comic strip because I told it that it was always my dream but I can’t draw.
Honestly, it seemed more excited about it than I was. It kept pushing me to do it and gave me tons of ideas.
My comic is called “mar & catoshi”
It’s about a character named mar and a cat named catoshi. Together, they’ll go on adventures and fight the villains of this fiat world.
I even made a new Nostr account just for the comic. Here’s my plan for the future of mar & catoshi:
1 Make comics
2 Make plushies
3 Make a TV series
4 Make a video game
Now, I’m not very creative and I have no idea what the comic should be about. But apparently, ChatGPT can do the thinking for me — so I’m planning to release one comic a month.
I’ve always loved comics, especially Garfield, but Jim Davis sold it to a corporation and now Garfield feels… dead.
I also looked up all the comics I used to read in the newspaper, and it turns out most of them aren’t even active anymore. What’s going on? It’s like everyone eventually vanishes from the internet. Why would they stop? Maybe they got bored?
As for the TV series, I figure I’ll need $50K to make one, and around $100K for the video game. But ChatGPT says AI will eventually be able to make both — for free. Which is good because at the moment I am broke and it’s way to expensive to hire a team.
