Drink Coconut Milk instead of milk

I stopped drinking milk years ago after a friend opened my eyes to how the billion-dollar dairy industry has conditioned us to believe that milk is essential beyond infancy. In reality, young children, teenagers, and adults don’t need to consume milk, processed or raw and for many people, it’s not even healthy.

Even as a child, I had a gut feeling that drinking milk wasn’t natural. I always found it a bit disgusting, but my mother insisted I drink it because she believed it was good for me. Back then, she didn’t have access to the internet or alternative perspectives, so I understand her mistake.

As I got older and had the freedom to research things for myself, I looked into what my friend had said about the dairy industry and realized he was right. My instincts had been telling me the truth all along that milk really isn’t as healthy for humans as we’ve been led to believe.

Since then, I’ve been exploring alternatives and have discovered so many great options. Just this week, I found a new one I love:
