Will Gab be around for another 50 to 100 years?
Gab has very little censorship compared to the other social media sites but they did delete a group i was following because it didn’t align with their values. Remember that their values are Christian based and seem to be anti +18 content.
At the beginning I saw many profiles that would be considered offensive on Gab but the profiles were not deleted and Gab allowed them to have free speech. I believe that it was an attack on Gab and profiles were mostly deep state created while few others were actual people.
Funny thing is the profiles haven’t posted much or have gone quiet. This is a good example that the deep state has been trying to actively to push propaganda that there is a massive amount of people online with extremist views but that’s not true at all.
The real profiles with offensive profiles & extremist views have gotten bored because they eventually realized they are all alone in their views and no one really interacts with their profiles. So they get bored and leave.
No need to ban them or censor them was needed. They free market took care of them.
The best way to change dumb people is not to ban them but instead to ignore them.
I’d say gab is the best out of all the centralized social media sites but nostr is way better.
Nostr is the future. No one can beat nostr since it’s you control your own content, it’s decentralized, you can’t be censored. & monetized so you can already make money without any requirements since it works around Bitcoin.
