The religious right seems to believe that putting Bibles back in classrooms will fix education.
However, the root cause of the problems in schools is that they are controlled by the government.
Even if the Bible returns to schools. The government will still control the policies governing education. Over time, they will introduce secular and potentially radical ideas into the curriculum.
The solution lies in the separation of government and education.
Although Trump is working to reduce federal control over education, we must continue to advocate for also the reduction of each state/province to have control over your children’s education.
Ultimately, the people should have control over their own schools & children’s education, not government or the state/province.
