X is still full of spam & fake profiles.
My guess is about 80% of profiles & followers are fake.
It’s always easy to spot the fake profiles as they love using women’s profiles in particular asian pictures and the newest trend is they use the word “investor” and “crypto” in their profiles.
Twitter was trash & X is still trash.
I’ve noticed an uptick in fake profiles on truth social these days. Maybe because truth social seems to be getting a bit more popular because of their app but not alot.
For some reason on gab i rarely get spam. Maybe it’s not big enough?
I’ve seen plenty of spam on nostr but nostr does not have a big enough user base yet.
I suspect nostr will eventually turn to trash unless they implement solutions to stop spam. There currently is no solutions.
