So apparently, you’re not supposed to log in with your nsec on any websites. Oops — I’ve been logging in using my nsec everywhere.
I assumed that if you created an npub on a website, the nsec tied to it would be safe to use just on that site — and not transferable or risky elsewhere.
Nostr is still relatively new, so I’m learning as I go. The good news? It’s easy to generate new npubs, and every mistake is a learning opportunity — even logging in with your nsec.
Don’t be afraid to ask lots of questions.
