I’ve been vibe coding a Nostr-based live stream that runs directly on my website, complete with chat and zaps.
Zapping lets viewers send me payments directly, with no banks or intermediaries involved. That means 100% of the money goes straight to me.
Can’t ban me. Can’t censor me.
Working on this made me realize that platforms like Twitch and even traditional payment processors like PayPal will eventually become obsolete.
Right now, I’m vibe-coding it, so it’s a bit glitchy. But in the future, we’ll likely see polished software emerge that will make it easy to run nostr live streams directly from personal websites like I am. That could accelerate the end of Twitch and PayPal.
Nostr is powerful and the possibilities are just getting started.
